FileZilla is a free, open source and cross-platform FTP software.It is a fast and reliable FTP and SFTP client with lots of useful features and an intuitive graphical user interface. The program interface includes an easy-to-use tabbed window with drag and drop capability, bookmarks, remote file search, remote file editing, and a managable upload/download queue. Internally, it supports connection throttling, keep-alive, timeout detection.

Limitations
- Scripting
Cannot be scripted from a command line or internally. Only manual, interactive supported.
- Windows 9x
As of version 2.2.23, FileZilla uses Unicode internally. As a result, it no longer runs on Windows 9x/ME.
- Timestamps – Uploading
In FTP mode date/timestamps attributes on uploaded files can only be retained if the server supports the MFMT command. In SFTP mode the said attributes can be retained starting with FileZilla 3.0.8.
- Timestamps – Downloading
Date/timestamps on downloaded files can only be retained if the partition on which the files are saved supports timestamps for file creation date and time.
