Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and chief executive of Facebook.com, is announced the 2010 Person of the Year of Time magazine.
Mark Zuckerberg, at the age of 19, while studying at the Harvard University in 2004, started the web service called Thefacebook.com. Now at 26, he is one of the world’s youngest billionaires and Facebook is projected to have 2010 revenues of $2 billion.
A Time poll showed readers favored naming WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange this year with highest votes, but the Time magazine’s editors and correspondents chose Mark Zuckerberg as the winner, who has been at the 10th position in the votes.
