Texting Kills Ratio Communis Area of Your Brain

According to the SMH report, the American College of Emergency Physicians conducted studies on the link between the ratio communis (which roughly translates into commonsense) part of the brain and gadgets. According to the study, when we chat on the mobile phone, SMS furiously, browse the BlackBerry, or commune with our car’s global positioning system (GPS), the parts doesn’t work as expected.

The dotors urge us not to text while you’re engaged in physical activities that require sustained attention, such as crossing the road, biking, driving, roller blading and playing sports. Never text when driving or motorcycling, and use caution even when using headsets. Texting can divert you from ensuring your own safety.
