winPenPack is an Open Source project which deals with portable software, both natively portable and made portable by means of X-Launcher and can be executed without installation from any USB Flash Drive or Hard Disk.
X-Launcher is SourceForge’s portable program launcher. The winPenPack suites offer a wide range of portable applications like office tools, internet tools, multimedia tools, development tools, security applications and other frequently used utilities. These apps can be grouped into suites. They can be used as standalone portable programs also.
Portable applications included in the winPenPack suite need not require installation, they do not leave the files or settings on the host computer and can be easily transferred to another computer through any external device such as removable HDD or thumb drive.
The programs grouped in categories which are easily executable, are available through the winPenPack Menu. The menu comes with web browsers, e-mail clients, image and drawing editors, chat clients, multimedia tools, PC maintenance and security tools, school and development tools etc.
The winPenPack is completely legal and has Apache License V2.0, BSD License, GNU General Public License version 2.0 (GPLv2), GNU Library or Lesser General Public License version 2.0 (LGPLv2), MIT License and Mozilla Public License 1.1 (MPL 1.1).
