Any of you in Trivandrum during this Gandhi Jayanthi?
A few of us in Trivandrum, claiming to be Trivandrum Bloggers 
, are planning to meet up for a dinner at 5 PM on 2nd October 2008 at Hotel Indrapuri. If you are interested to be part of this simple gathering, please leave a comment in the tvm blog and contact Keralafarmer before Oct 1st evening.

Many years ago I lived in Trivandrum for 3 years when my dad was transferred there (an army officer). I was kid of 11-12 years; I still have fond memories to the city, the Priyar Lake, the boat races, the markets etc. We lived in a place called Cotton Hill; from this place we could see the royal palace. I moved to Canada in the early 70’s after finishing university.
Every few years I like to visit India and see different parts of the country. This winter I am planning a tour of Kerala including Trivandrum. Any suggestions or guidance would be most appreciated. Guidance as to what is good to see, best way to travel, places to stay etc. I will have 7 to 10 days available.
I will be travelling alone, and will join my family in Delhi at the end of my trip.
I am a Licensed Immigration Consultant in Canada. I might me of help to some on your Blog.
