Vodafone introduced WorldSpace Radio services on the mobile handsets across 18 circles in India. The new service includes access to thousands of songs via 10 radio channels. Vodafone customers can call 58000 to activate this service at Rs 30/month with 300 minutes of free usage.

Vodafone India is launching Go BBM, a new BlackBerry service plan for its prepaid and postpaid customers. The new plan will will offer unlimited access to BlackBerry Messenger Services (BBM) at Rs 5 per day for prepaid users and Rs 129 per month for postpaid subscribers.
Vodafone India said they would discontinue mobile services for prepaid customers who don’t use their cellphones for 60 days at a stretch. The move was triggered by the telecoms department’s stringent guidelines for the allocation of new number series based on active subscribers.
