Tianhe-1A, designed and developed by China is the world’s fastest supercomputer today. The previous speed leader is a Cray XT5 Jaguar of the U.S. Tianhe-1A can perform faster than the Cray XT5 Jaguar. Tianhe-1A has a speed of 2.5 petaflops of data at once, which is 40% more than the Cray XT5 Jaguar’s 1.75 petaflops.
