HTML 5 version of Nokia maps is now avaialble for iOS and Android. Nokia Maps is now available on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad with iOS4 or Android phones with Android 2.2/2.3 with an HTML5 compatible browser. To access this simply type maps.nokia.com in your mobile browser.
Nokia is re-branding its suite of mobile apps and services from “Ovi” to simply “Nokia. The only difference to consumers is in the replacement of the word “Ovi” with “Nokia,”; theoretically Ovi Maps will become Nokia Maps. The global marketing exercise will begin in July.
