15th Annual GSMA Global Mobile Awards for Steve Jobs, Kenya and RIM

S Tel GSM Mobile Services in Himachal Pradesh

S Tel launched mobile services in Himachal Pradesh, with twin tariff plans of one paise a second and 50 paise per minute. S Tel will be launched in Bihar and Orissa in the next ten days. S Tel also plans to add three more circles by the end of the first quarter next year. The company has licences for Himachal Pradesh, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam circles. Mobile Phone Don’t Cause Brain Cancer

According to a study conducted by Dr. Isabelle Deltour of the Danish Cancer Society and her colleague: “The cause of brain tumors is poorly understood. The only well-established risk factors – ionizing radiation and rare hereditary syndromes – account for a small proportion of brain tumor cases. If there is a risk from regular cell phone use, it would take more than 5-10 years for a tumor to appear.” Read full story »
