The Guide is an application that allows you to create documents (“guides”) which inherently have a tree and text associated with each node of the tree. The text itself is of the rich-text variety, and the editor allows you to modify the style and formatting of the text; fonts, bold, italics etc.
The Guide is a dual-pane outliner. It supports the creation, rearrangement of nodes, rich text with lots of formatting options, searching of full/subtree for matching text, hyperlinks to other nodes/files/directories/e-mails/URLs and configuration of node icon/checkboxes.[advt]
The Guide is available as an installable package for Microsoft Windows. The zip file is also available that requires no installation and it supports portable use.
