The project was to develop and maintain applications for their Distribution and Warehousing Systems. The platform is Mainframe – COBOL, VSAM, CICS, IDMS and DB2.
- [Oct '99 - Mar '00] This was a web development project for a medical e-learning startup (Medschool.com) based in Santa Monica, CA. The website was launched on 1-Jan-2000. The website was developed using Solaris 2.6, NES 3.6, NAS 2.1, Internet Publishing System and Oracle 8i.
- [Sep '98 - Sep '99] This project was executed for a beef company (Monfort) based in Greeley, CO. The available to promise system was to schedule production in the plant based on the open orders and cattle availability. The platform was Mainframe COBOL, DB2 and Power Builder.
- [Jan '98 - Aug '98] My first project in Infosys was for a power and gas company (Southern California Edison) serving Southern California, USA. We were developing a Customer Service System based on Mainframe COBOL and DB2 as back-end, Power Builder 6.5 as the front-end and Sybase Net Gateway as the middle tier.
