Samsung Corby PRO (B5310) is a QWERTY Slider mobile phone with a hybrid design with touch screen. This slim and sleek handset has a spacious 2.8” 240×320 QVGA screen with 16M color. It supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Music Player, E-Mail, FM Radio, USB 2.0, Bluetooth and External Memory. The 3.2 Megapixel camera with 2x zoom can take crystal clear photos.
Samsung Corby PRO now has an offer price of Rs 13,900.
Corby PRO uses TFT internal technology for its 2.8″ display with internal resolution of 240×320 pixels. It has a Video player and has video recording functionality as well.
Corby PRO is Java enabled, and supports 3G. 3G, also known as HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access) is a technology that allows fast downloading of data such as web pages.
Conversational messaging presents your messages in a real view format, like a real conversation, treating SMS like Instant Messages. All messages with one contact are organized together, creating a linear conversation. Multi IM consolidates all your instant messaging services in one application. It exchanges text, voice messages and pictures with contacts from various services.
Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR offers wireless connections to other mobile devices and peripherals. Samsung Corby PRO is Bluetooth enabled. Bluetooth is a radio link standard with short working range, used for the purpose of connecting various terminals to one another on a wireless basis. Contrary to a wireless infrared connection, inter visibility between the devices is not necessary. Thus, the user could simply keep the mobile phone in a jacket pocket while it sends or receives data from the internet via a laptop.
Wi-Fi brings internet access anytime, anywhere to the mobile. USB 2.0 Fast Speed connects easily for speedy file transfers and access to other devices.
Samsung B5310 has core widgets which enable one-click easy access to useful applications. Native applications offer seamless connections to popular applications including Facebook and MySpace.
Universal access 3.5mm ear-jack lets you use any earphones. You store large multimedia files on 120MB internal memory and external microSD (up to 16GB).
Three Stylish Jackets let you dress up your mobile with different covers including micro pattern, graphic pattern and black micro pattern. The 960mAh battery provides standby up to 542 hrs for 2G and up to 447 hrs for 3G.
Samsung Corby PRO supports GSM & EDGE Band Communication System for data transmission which is opposite to analog system. The Band, groups of frequency which is allocated to wireless communication, are 850/900/1800/1900.
Corby PRO contains Dolphine 1.5 browser to to view information pages on WAP pages. The Internet browser gives you fast online access, a PC-like layout and full-browser status. PagePilot, Visual Bookmarks and more make life extra convenient.
The phone supports Video telephony (or video calling, video conferencing), which lets two people with compatible phones talk to each other while simultaneously viewing live video of each other.
Samsung B5310 has email support, which enables messages to be transferred from an individual to another individual or from an individual to a group of people.
Samsung Corby PRO supports WAP. WAP is the Wireless Application Protocol serves to show internet content on the mobile phone display. A WAP capable mobile phone is required for this. Also, the internet page must be appropriately edited and be available as a WML document. Due to the low rate of data transfer and the small mobile phone display, the contents are reduced to text and simple graphics.
Corby PRO supports SyncML(DS) PC Sync Application to connect the phone to a computer with a cable and synchronize calendar.

Very very Advanced and Basic mobile that everyone needs today.
Almost all latest features are in it. Sound is good, Bandwith is good, cam is good, 3g, wifi, gps, 16gb expandable.
This is one addictive gadget.
Only thing is that its a slider mobile, if it falls, then slider always creates problems. If you buy it, you need to treat it as a baby.
If I was a Samsung mobile developer, I would have made it in a very good looks and for rough use and more advanced with 3d icons and 3d games.
