Anil Ambani’s Reliance Communications has partnered with BBC World Service to offer live audio service through R-World value-added services (VAS) platform. BBC World Service content will be available live across India through Reliance mobile phones.
Reliance Mobile subscribers can listen to the BBC World audio service through the week in five languages – English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil and Bengali.
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a substantial stake in Infotel Broadband Services (P) Ltd, which has emerged as a successful bidder in all the 22 circles of the auction for Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) Spectrum conducted by the DoT.
