Password Safe allows you to safely and easily create a secured and encrypted user name/password list. You can create a master pssword and access your entire user name/password list. Password Safe is a database for storing sensitive information in an encrypted form until the master password is entered. You can copy a password into the clipboard and paste it directly into your application.
Password Safe supports “Auto Type” that enters the username and password into the target application by simulating keystrokes. The database is encrypted using the Twofish encryption algorithm. Password Safe allows you to manage your old passwords and to easily and quickly generate, store, retrieve, and use complex new passwords, using password policies that you control.
Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list, or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords.
