Open IT Online is an extension for Firefox, Flock, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Opera, that allows to open and edit your documents from everywhere. Using this you will be able to open several types of documents directly in Firefox and Internet Explorer without needing any software to be installed.

Open IT Online supports the files such as documents (*.pdf, *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf, *.odt, *.sxw), spreadsheets (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.csv, *.ods, *.sxc), presentations (*.ppt, *.pptx, *.pps, *.odp, *.sxi), images (*.jpg, *.gif,*.png, *.bmp, *.psd). If you have installed Open IT Online, you will get an option to open the file online. Choosing this option, you will also have the possibility to choose which online service you want to use to open the file.

Open IT Online shows you also the file size of the document you could see online: this information helps you determining if you want to open the file online or not. It also lets you edit images directly in browser. When you encounter an image on a webpage, just right click on it, and select OpenItOnline option from Context menu, and then choose your favorite service to edit the image online for free.
