Nokia 5530 XpressMusic (eXpress Music), released in August 2009, has a thin attractive design is framed by a durable stainless steel front cover for a solid feel and lasting beauty. It has a full touch interface of 2.9″ with 16.7 million colours and 640 x 360 pixels resolution. The full screen QWERTY alphanumeric keypad comes with handwriting recognition.

The camera is 3.2 megapixel capable of 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution for JPEG format with autofocus, LED flash and 4x digital zoom. It can record video at up to 640 x 480 pixels (VGA) 30 fps. The Nokia music player with Stereo FM radio and 3D surround sound stereo speakers can playback .mp3, SpMidi, AAC AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA files.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is priced at 14,029 Indian Rupees (INR).

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic supports GPRS / EDGE, WLAN, and Bluetooth 2.0. The E-mail service supports IMAP, POP and SMTP protocols, supports e-mail attachments.

5530 XpressMusic has 70 MB internal user memory and a microSD memory card slot for up to 16 GB, 4 GB memory card included. The phone supports Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900) and provides automatic switching between GSM bands.

The BL-4U 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery offers talk time up to 4 h 54 minutes and standby time up to 351 hours. You get music playback time up to 27 hours!
