You can use Chikka Messenger to send FREE SMS Text Messages to Alltel, Boost, AT&T, Sprint, Nextel and Verizon Wireless mobile service providers / carriers in United States. You need to Download Chikka Messenger and Register to send free SMS from any computer (desktop, laptop, notebook, netpc, etc.) connected to the Internet. Now you are ready to send Free SMS to mobile phone numbers in United States.

You can send message from Chikka to your friends in USA, but the receiver will be charged as per the tariff plan he has. Receiving SMS is not free in the US.

Registering / Signing Up

Using Chikka Messenger Service for SMS

Sending and Receiving Messages
To send a message from your mobile phone, check your list of buddies by texting C to 54273. You will receive a message with your list of buddies. Follow the instructions in the next message you will receive.

Replying to a Chikka message
To reply to a Chikka message you have received on your mobile phone, there is no need to remember any shortcodes or keywords. Chikka’s intuitive system allows you to simply reply to themessage you received, as if you are replying to a regular text message.

Password Information
Create a text message. Key in P and send it to 54273. You will receive a message containing your account details.

Status and Availability
To check who is online using your mobile phone, check your list of buddies by texting C and sending it 54273.

Sending to Alltel mobiles is free, but the recipient is charged $0.30 for every three Chikka messages received. Regular messaging rates apply when you reply from your mobile phone.

Boost Mobile
Sending to Boost mobiles is free, but the recipient is charged $0.30 for every three Chikka messages received. Regular messaging rates apply when you reply from your mobile phone.

AT&T Mobile

Verizon Wireless
Sending to Verizon Wireless mobiles is free, but the recipient is charged $0.45 for every three Chikka messages received. Regular messaging rates apply when you reply from your mobile phone.

END or STOP or STOP ALL or QUIT or CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE or REMOVE or OFF to 54273

Please note that when you unsubscribe to Chikka, you will no longer be charged to receive Chikka messages. Charges will only apply when you agree to receive Chikka messages or when you reply YES to a Chikka message via SMS.

Blocking and Unblocking
When someone adds you to his buddy list for the first time and sends you a message on your mobilephone, you can easily block the sender by replying to the text message with thekeyword BLOCK.

Otherwise, create a text message and key in BLOCK then send it to 54273

Waitfor the message containing a list of those in your buddy list and their corresponding buddy digits. Text BLOCK <buddy digit>

Example: BLOCK 2

Send again to 54273.

To unblock someone, create a text message and key in UNBLOCK <Chikka ID> then send it to 54273
