MX Video Player for Android with Hardware Decoder

MX Player is a video player for Android, which supports multi-core decoding. It uses Hardware acceleration to videos via its new Hardware decoder. The multi-core decoding provides enhanced viewing experience.

Another feature of the player is Pinch to Zoom, which means a user can zoom in and out videos with ease by pinching and swiping across screen. Also subtitles can be scrolled to move back and forth faster.

It also features a KIDS LOCK option so that whenever the lock is on, the kids can only watch videos and cannot make calls or touch other apps. The function requires additional plugin.

It supports different subtitle formats such as DVD, DVB, SSA/ASS Subtitle tracks, SubStation Alpha(.ssa/.ass) with full styling, SAMI(.smi) with ruby tag support, MicroDVD(.sub/.txt), PowerDivX(.psb/.txt), TMPlayer(.txt) etc.

Also there is a “System Tools – display system-level alerts” permission, which is useful to block any accidental key entries while watching videos. This input block function will make sure that user can watch videos without interruption.
