MemPad is a notebook where you can arrange and manage your notes in a hierarchical, tree-based manner. It supports text search, word-wrap mode, read-only mode, notebook encryption and automatic backup. It also provides Export and import page functions.
The program offers standard editing functions including cut, copy, paste, undo, date/time insert, drag&drop, and supports Web links as well as network and local file or folder links and internal page links. Environmental variables can be used in file links to run programs.
MemPad always saves data without prompting. It automatically save the file in every 4 minutes, automatic backup, restore last backup and reload the file.
It has a popup menus with user defined words or expressions to insert, optionally with date and time tokens. MemPad operates in file environments, each with its own INI file. No Registry entries are required.
