Of course, TV cannot be an ATM yet!

And digital TV communication is not safe enough yet to allow PIN input through the remote, accept the input at the data center and show the account balance on the TV screen.

The main advantage of this feature is that, house wives do not need to visit a branch or connect to the internet to know about ICICI bank offers and other details. EVen that itself is great information considering the huge population of India.

The only question is, ‘can this be called TV Banking‘?

Moreover, this is just like any other Ad. May be Dish exclusively broadcasts ICICI ads for lengthier durations.

I thought I can transact on my account in TV. This is utter disappointment
