How Does the “Report This” Button Work on Facebook?

It had happened to many, while you use Facebook, a spam or something with an annoying content may make you click this “Report” button, to the  least for once. Ever wondered what happens after you click “Report” on Facebook ? How the website reviews to this man made reports ?

There are hundreds of people working 24×7 as dedicated teams to handle the reports made to Facebook. The User Operations (UO) is separated into 4 teams to review certain report types – the Safety team, the Hate and Harassment team, the Access team and the Abusive Content team.
