Air India introduced mobile check-in facility for its domestic passengers from the metropolitan cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, with effect from April 7, 2011.
Air India’s mobile check-in facility is made available for all domestic travel from the six major metros. It will be extended to other stations and international flights in a phased manner.
Mobile check-in facility will enable passengers to check-in for their flights from their web-enabled mobile hand sets by accessing URL flyai.mobi and follow the sequence-wise instructions as given on the mobile screen.
