Emoticons in Google Talk / Chat

Did you know that Google Chat/Talk has more than 20 emoticons enabled? Check out the article can I use emoticons in Gmail Help Center.
The emoticons are very simple and semi transparent. You can actually see how the character combination that you enter is rotated and translated into the emoticon image. Move the mouse over the image displayed in the chat window to see this happening again.
BTW, the emoticon }:-) also works in Google Chat, though not mentioned in the help center. It seems Google is working on adding more emoticons to the list.
