BSNL 3G Mobile Service in 1000 Cities by End of 2009

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) will expand it’s 3G Mobile Services in 1000 cities by end of 2009. BSNL launched 3G services in February 2009. BSNL at present offers 3G services in 70 cities and has about more than 9,000 3G subscribers.

The 3G mobile services provide users access to High speed internet, video calling and video streaming applications such as Live TV and movie downloads.

BSNL will also expand its service offering to include voice-on-demand (VOD), video streaming, games-on-demand and full track music download. BSNL are currently offers just video calling, mobile TV and high speed internet. BSNL would introduce services like VOD (Video on Demand), games-on-demand and full track music download in a month’s time.
