Amazon launched Amazon Unbox, the Video On Demand service for buying and renting videos online.
The Unbox Video Downloads is listed as one of the product categories in the Amazon.com menu. The service includes movies and TV shows. Purchased videos include a high quality video for large screens and a Windows Media file for portable devices.
You may need to download the Amazon Unbox Video Player for playing the video and it works on Windows only. You cannot use Amazon Unbox to play video files downloaded from other vendors. Amazon Unbox video downloads are not compatible with Apple / Macintosh hardware and computer systems. One hour of programming is roughly equal to one gigabyte (1 GB) of file space on your computer.
